At Radost (RAH-dohst) Solutions, “Radost” — the Czech word for joy — is more than just a name. It reflects our belief that genuine fulfillment comes from meaningful work, thoughtful action, and collective success.
We are a people-first company, passionate about delivering solutions that are not only effective but also deeply aligned with values of pragmatic optimism, integrity, authenticity, and long-term value.
At Radost, we start with “first principles” thinking and focus on what people actually need. We strip problems down to their core components, challenge assumptions, and build solutions from the ground up. Every engagement follows this human-centered, fundamentals-first approach.

I have been in technical and leadership roles for nearly 25 years now. Starting in UNIX and network engineering early on, it became clear to me that while I had passion and talent for raw technology, solving problems and working with human dynamics was where I delivered the most impact and had the most fun. My first serious technical management role was taking our company through Y2K as the leader of a UNIX hardware team. Since then, I have focused on tricky and complicated roles, thriving when faced with a challenge.
At Radost, I am focusing on strategy, problem-solving, people and team dynamics, and project and portfolio delivery. These are the things I love – which seems like a great way to spend my time.
I’d like to be a part of your team – to extend influence where you need it most. Whether it’s coaching a new manager, leading, rescuing, or advising on a tricky project – or helping to set up and drive a strategic planning session. I can be effective, supportive and hopefully bring a bit of radost with me.

Systems don’t create value — people using systems effectively do. That belief has guided 25 years of work across technology, healthcare, retail, government, and financial services.
I’ve held roles where that belief was tested at serious scale. At Nike, I led Global Technology Operations and Support. At LifeMap Assurance Co, I served as CIO. At Galois, I worked on deeply technical, mission-critical problems in formal methods and election security — the kind of work where getting it right matters and there’s no room to cut corners. Through all of it, the work that mattered most was getting the right people aligned around the right problems.
I founded Radost Solutions in 2022 to do this work on my own terms. Radost is the Czech word for joy, and that’s intentional. In the last three plus years, we’ve grown into a team of committed professionals serving clients who trust us with their most important challenges. Building something that delivers real value for clients and creates meaningful careers for our people is the most rewarding work I’ve done. I don’t take that for granted.
At Radost, I lead our client relationships and set the strategic direction for the firm. My focus is strategy, team dynamics, and project delivery. I work best when I’m embedded with a client team, solving problems alongside the people closest to the work.
If you need someone who can step into a complex situation, build trust quickly, and help your team move forward, I’d like to talk.
What I offer isn’t a packaged solution or a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s honest thinking, straightforward advice, and a practical path forward.
